This week I realized a few things about myself and can I just say that I hate learning things about me. It seems I always have to be tortured during the process and it really bites.
I always knew I didn’t like large crowds. I just never realized how much. Over the course of two days I had to be with a group of TWENTY FIVE women for my companies’ annual managers meeting and thought I was going to explode. Or at least I kept hoping I would so I could get the hell out of there.
I also learned that I have a lot more self restraint then I ever knew possible. At least twelve times on Thursday I thought I was going to slap someone. I now believe in miracles.
Lastly, I learned that I hate people! Ok so this isn’t really any big revelation but I just needed to reiterate that in case there was any confusion.
After this meeting I came home and slept for FOURTEEN HOURS!

Ouch, Suzanne. Glad I don't work with you anymore! Didn't know you hated all of us so much :)
I feel ya Suz. I didn't have to be with 25 people but I SO SO feel ya. And I love the line about exploding. :)
I think part of it was the 25 people that were there. Had you taken out a certain handful of them Im sure you would have been better off. =) Who knows though! And I definately feel you with the sleeping thing!
Like you've said.. being around people is just not healthy! Hopefully Karren will believe you now! ;)
You are just a textbook INTROVERT. But people don't understand that term.
Now apologize to all your friends (and co-workers) that think you hate them.
Love, Mom
He He! Some people just don't get it huh?! But I do. I so do. I'm kindof a mix between a extrovert and an introvert but I think mosty I'm an IRRITABLEvert. There should be such a word.
Oh my gosh Jo! That REALLY should be a word!! It's perfect!
I spent some good time today reading your fantastic blog. I love it! And I hate people too. Brandon and I have a saying that I got from my mission. Czechs got so confused when they learned English. They had trouble with the difference between much and many. They would say, "Too much people!" So that is what Brandon and I say when we hate people. "Too much people!"
Oh my gosh I want to hear how it all went! You totally crack me up!
you know I was being my sarcastic self, right?
Yeah I know Amanda lol. I could totally hear your tone of voice as I was reading it and cracking up.
