Dirty Laundry

I don’t mean to air my neighbors’ dirty laundry about the divorce they (let's call her "M" and her husband "Dick") are going through to the whole world. However since their front door is ten feet from mine and ”M” is one of my closest friends I am pretty much involved in every step of the demise of this relationship and it has started to get very overwhelming.

I have learned some very valuable lessons from all of this though and feel the need to share them.

*Do not get involved with your neighbors. OK, I know this doesn’t apply to all people but man does it apply to me! The whole reason I moved here in the first place was to get away from my last neighbor (Who was also my ex-boyfriend. Not good times.). Next time I move I’m living on a 100 acre lot. Did I mention that the man that lived next to me, before M and Dick moved in, almost burned the place down? Yep, 100 acre lot!

*Men are just as crazy as women (Come on girls, admit it. We can all be a little wacko sometimes). Here are two examples of a man being crazy: 1- Finally after 3 months of arguing over who should be the one to move out Dick decided he would leave... He moved back in 24 hrs later becauses he missed M. They are living in separate bedrooms though. 2- A week later Dick went on vacation... to go meet a girl. He then sent M flowers the next day for their anniversary. WHAT THE?!?!

*Turns out women that used to be men are even crazier. Hold on to your shorts because she just might throw them out the window!... No really, she just might. The other day I woke up to all of Dicks clothes in a tree.

Last lesson learned: There is a very very fine line between optimism and denial!
